From Michael's random audio during practice, I had feared a rather dismal run from the #55, but he said after his lap that he didn't go hard enough because he didn't have the confidence! Hopefully the car will be that good tonight! Michael is in contention for the Fan Vote if he doesn't finish 1st or 2nd in the Showdown.
David's lap wasn't as good as I'd wanted, but he's qualified bad before and still had a good racecar. It's nice to see him in the #00 again and a surprise to see Aaron's on the hood! Brian was so close to the pole! His crew won the Pit Crew Challenge on Thursday night - they were phenomenal!

All-Star qualifying is always fun to watch and there's usually at least one spin-out on pit road entry (Denny Hamlin took the honors Friday evening). Dale Jarrett is back in the #44 to make his last start - I really hope he has a decent night because his laps did not look too good.
Of course, having Kyle Busch on pole probably doesn't make a lot of the drivers feel very confident!
