David continues to impress with yet another top 10!
He clearly had a very fast car and proved it when he raced Kyle Busch for the lead (and is that ever a simple task?!) after the halfway point. In the end he would end up leading twenty laps and getting those oh-so-important five bonus points. Unfortunately he was bumped back in the field after other cars used pit strategy to get in front of him - and then his right-front fender was pushed in when Greg Biffle got loose coming off the corner. That sucked and it did hurt the Dream Machine enough to where David could never get it back to winning form. The silver lining of the day was all the coverage he got for Aaron's and he did finish ahead of Clint Bowyer, chipping away his hefty point lead. 
It was going to be a solid race for Scott until a lugnut issue during a pit stop put him back in traffic.
From then on it was a battle to make the best of a cruddy situation, which Scott - a very methodical driver - was successful in doing. Despite the bad luck, he always finds a way to smile during his post-race interview. I love that!
