Well when you see that Kyle Busch led 144 out of 150 laps you know this race was kind of a boring one. It even seemed that NASCAR took an opportunity to throw a caution and bunch the field back up after the race had gone green for quite some time - Brian had scraped the wall fairly lightly but the yellow came out. Not that I'm complaining because I understand that sometimes you just need to try and get some action back into a dull race.
Meanwhile David was having a very solid night, breaking into the top 10 quickly and for the most part remaining there!
Although Brian had a good car unfortunately his pit crew wasn't totally on top of their game.
They left a lug nut loose which forced him to come in under green. Somehow he stayed on the lead lap and showed what a great driver he is by finishing well into the top 5!
The race ended under caution when Josh Wise spun out.
Poor Josh! But ESPN being ESPN, they never went back to see what happened.
All in all, this race was good for allowing me to highlight a fifty page chapter in my Animal Physiology texbook!
